Tripods Overview

Tripod's are portable with a three-legged frame always used to support an array of cameras with a wedge plate and often a base plate. They maintain the stability of the camera. The pan head that attaches to the frame is used to pan and tilt the camera for varying shots. Production tripods have a fluid head which guides smooth panning for film and video production.
